LÖSEV Anıtkabir Visit – Following in Atatürk’s Footsteps

LÖSEV – The Foundation for Children with Leukemia invites children receiving treatment for leukemia and cancer, young people who have recovered, families, volunteers and everyone who shares a love for Türkiye to come together at Anıtkabir on Saturday, 3 October.

At our annual Anıtkabir gathering, which brings together the wider LÖSEV Family, we will visit Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, alongside our children and young people and reaffirm our commitment to his principles and values.

As we come together under the message “Following in Atatürk’s Footsteps,” we invite you to take your place alongside the LÖSEV Family at Anıtkabir for this meaningful occasion.

The LÖSEV Anıtkabir Gathering

For LÖSEV, the Anıtkabir gathering is more than a visit. It is a special occasion that brings together our children, families, volunteers and supporters around shared values.

Since its establishment, LÖSEV has advocated for children’s rights to health and education, while placing science, education, modernity and the values of the Republic at the heart of its work.

For this reason, thousands of people join our annual visit to Anıtkabir, walking side by side with children affected by leukemia to express their love, respect and commitment to Atatürk.

Bringing together LÖSEV volunteers and families from across Türkiye, this gathering also highlights the strong spirit of social solidarity that stands behind our children and their journey.

What Will Take Place at Anıtkabir?

On Saturday, 3 October, the LÖSEV Family and participants will come together at Anıtkabir.

Children receiving treatment for leukemia, young people who have recovered, families, volunteers and LÖSEV staff will take part in the visit to Anıtkabir.

Participants travelling from different cities across Türkiye will come together as we visit Atatürk and reaffirm our commitment to the values of the Republic and the legacy he entrusted to future generations.

We would be delighted to welcome children affected by leukemia and everyone who shares a love for their country to join us.

Who Can Participate?

The LÖSEV Anıtkabir event is open to our children, young people, families and volunteers, as well as everyone who supports LÖSEV and shares a love for their country.

You do not need to be a LÖSEV volunteer to take part in this meaningful gathering. You can stand alongside our children and join the LÖSEV Family for the visit to Anıtkabir.
